Paris apartment

Jo Anne researched apartments and gave us a list from which to choose. She wanted the 7th arrondissement (near the Tour Eiffel), and found a wonderful place! The address was 11 Rue Surcouf and the building had an entry code plus a concierge and an elevator big enough for three of us plus our luggage. The apartment was on the 4th floor (5th here), and was bright and attractive.

The website said that the apartment could sleep four, but that would not have been very comfortable. Except for one night I slept on the sofa bed. The first night I opened it, but after that I kept it closed and sleeping was better curled up on the sofa (without the back cushions).
The kitchen was well-equipped, there were over 30 television channels, and the apartment had wifi and a clothes washer.
There were several restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood, along with boulangeries/patisseries shops and grocery stores, and the métro La Tour-Maubourg was only about three blocks away.
